This is hard. Sometimes I don't want to write, but I do it anyway. I plot my stories so I always have a sense of where I'm going with a book. Even if I don't want to write, I try to do so. Inspiration doesn't factor in.

Join a writing group, take workshops, practice. Those are my practical pieces of advice. The less practical advice is that you can't ever give up on yourself. If you have a story to tell, find a way to do it.

The best answer is I'm not sure. There has been some talk about doing Nate's story and I have to say I'm intrigued by Nate. He's a not the hardcore alpha male, but he's smart and I really like the character.

I cry. No...okay...maybe I do a little, but mostly I keep writing even if the words are horrible. I get through it and am usually a stronger writer when I get to the other side of the block.

I'm finishing up a Christmas novella called This Christmas, that will come out on November 11th, 2014. It's one of four connected stories in a series called Christmas in New York, about four life long friends who find that special someone at Christmas.

When I wrote Owen as Jason's friend and business partner in the first Forever Love Story, The Temporary Wife, I liked him immediately. I knew he needed someone special, however. We first meet Kim in The Wedding Secret, and once I developed their common backstory, the book took off.
