Christina Channelle The fact that I'm doing one of the few things that truly makes me happy. I love to create, it's as simply as that. And if even one person enjoys my words, well, that makes it even sweeter.
Christina Channelle That's a tricky question because I have more than one favourite! But if I had to pick one I'd say Rowan. She has a spirit in her that makes me want to root for her until the end. Despite being supernatural, she's real and tells it like it is. But there's a vulnerability in her that's apparent and makes you realize that in spite of everything, we're all human deep down inside.
Christina Channelle Sometimes you just want to block out the crap that happens in life. For me, writing is a form of escape. It's almost cathartic and I can honestly say it is my one true passion. I love it. So whether I'm in a low mood and find inspiration in the lyrics of a song, or feel excited over an experience that just happened, I put that into creating a story that simply came from nothing.
Christina Channelle I'm currently working on JADED LITTLE LIES, the sequel to THOSE FOUR LETTER WORDS. I had been studying for an exam and was pretty much irritated that I had to. To give myself a break, I started to daydream about this real, angsty, emotional character that was mad at the world and didn't care about screaming curse words on the rooftops for everyone to hear. Jade Reamer was created as a result, and now her full story is currently being written with lots of four letter words causing her problems.
Christina Channelle I'm currently working on the follow up to the novella, THOSE FOUR LETTER WORDS. It's a full-length novel featuring the unforgettable Jade Reamer! I'm really excited about this upcoming book. It's scheduled to be released in 2015.
Christina Channelle If I find myself stuck when working on a story, I give it a break. Maybe I'll read that book I've been itching to start, or watch that movie that I've wanted to see for ages. Usually, I'll start another work in progress until my mind clears up and I'm ready to go back to the story.
