I think I wrote a 'half' as an equivalent for an hour, though in the world of Arathess, because it's a different planet in a different solar system, time works a little differently! They don't have 24 hours, for example, and a year is not 365 days like ours are.
I guess what I'm trying to say is a 'half' on Arathess is probably equivalent to about 45 mins on Earth!

Thanks for asking about that book. It was one of the first books I wrote, and I love it to death, so if I ever wrote a sequel I'd want to get it RIGHT, you know? That takes some time. Right now I'm swamped writing a new series, and doing a lot of editing on LOVELY VICIOUS #3 (out sometime in 2017!)
I originally planned for HATE ME NOT to come out in August the same year I released FEAR ME NOT, but that ended up just not being possible. Additionally, it's not a book I can jump into lightly - it's been years since I read it/got into the groove of Victoria/Shadus.
TLDR: I'm not sure when I'd write HATE ME NOT, let alone release it. I'm sort of corralled into focusing on new projects/projects that aren't self-pubbed. I hope that helps answer your question.

The new version has extra scenes and lots of editing/tweaks. The whole series is basically undergoing a makeover. It's not necessary to read something you just read, obviously, but I feel it's definitely a better book, and would totally read it. But that's just imo. :~)
