Dean MacAllister It was a combination of life experiences, strange news articles and interesting people I had met. I once knew a sleep walker that woke up at a train station. That always stuck with me. I wondered where he was travelling to and what he would do when he got there.
Dean MacAllister Random ideas just appear some times. You need to capture them when that happens, write them down and, if possible, include them in your current works. Other times it just means sitting in front of the keyboard and daydreaming until something tangible creates itself, almost like automatic writing.

Dean MacAllister Walking into the same wall over and over again doesn't help. I take breaks from writing just to walk and think. Enjoy the weather if possible. Also, I enjoy writing short stories, which means I can keep writing even if I get stuck on one of my main projects.
