Grace Notes is the first book in the Sanctuary series. The inspiration for this book came from many sources, the sense of being different that most young people go through, Lunabel really is different. Faery tales, which were the first things that were ever read to me and the first thing I wanted to read more of. There are a lot of reverences to folklore and mythology, also the parts of science that we could have interpreted as magic. I am close to finished with the next three books, Cantata, Cohort and Javelin.
