Thomas B. Dowd III I was flipping through "Oh the Places You'll Go" while doing a book signing at the local book store. I wanted to put my business lens on and challenge my own writing skills by rhyming. It was fun and has given a unique view for graduates just entering the workforce.
Thomas B. Dowd III I'm involved in competitive speaking. I lost a speech contest but was fortunate enough to gain a mentor in the person who won the contest. I then won the door prize, which was his CD and book. I listened to the CD on a 5 hour ride home and read his book that night. I was inspired to start writing the next day. Six books later, it was all worth it.
