Luke Scull Hi Lyle, many thanks for your questions! "The Dark Son" was listed on Goodreads a long while back but is a placeholder title for a novel I've yet to begin writing. I have made progress on a fourth, standalone novel in the GC world - but I'm keeping my cards close to my chest and will speak more about it when I'm closer to finishing. Rest assured there will definitely be more novels in the GC world. Cheers!
Luke Scull Hi Samantha,

Thank you for your interest - I'm working on a few things, including a new Grim Company novel, but nothing that could be published before late next year at the earliest. Cheers and keep safe!

Luke
Luke Scull I'm sorry, I don't understand the question!
Luke Scull Hi! "Kingdom" was originally going to be the 4th Grim Company novel. However, I've put that aside while I work on a different novel, also set in the Grim Company world. It won't be released before the latter half of next year, and maybe significantly longer than that, depending on the publisher situation.
Luke Scull Two D&D-based computer games, a Young Adult novel, and three standalone novels set in the Grim Company world, in that order. ;) I won't be releasing a book this year, however.
Luke Scull Hi Tom,

I'm hoping to have a new book out next year. If I had to guess, I'd say Fall at the earliest.

Cheers!

Luke
Luke Scull Right now I'm writing KINGDOM, a standalone novel set in the world of THE GRIM COMPANY. I'm also doing design and writing work for an unannounced computer roleplaying game.
Luke Scull Currently I'm reading KINGS OF THE WYLD by Nicholas Eames. Then it's RED SISTER by some Lawrence fellow, INFERNAL by Mark de Jager, WHEN THE HEAVENS FALL by Marc Turner and THE THOUSAND NAMES by Django Wexler. I'm also going to be reading AGE OF ASSASSINS by RJ Barker once the ARC hits. I have several zombie novels to read also, the first of which is FEED by Mira Grant. It's going to be a busy summer!
Luke Scull The entire last 18 months of my life would make for an exciting and depressing read. Maybe one day, when I'm old and famous, I'll pen an autobiography...
Luke Scull It's a trilogy. I intend to write more books in the same setting, but they will be standalone works set after (or perhaps before) The Grim Company trilogy. Watch this space!
Luke Scull Nate and Elena from the Uncharted videogame series. It's a romance built over 4 games, 10 years of real time and around 20 of virtual time. :)
Luke Scull No plans as far as I'm aware. However, I'll bring it up when I meet my publishers next. :)
Luke Scull Audio versions of my books are available from Audible in the UK, and Recorded Books in North America.

I currently have no plans for a d20 RPG based on the books - but since I'm also a game designer by trade, it's definitely possible further down the line. A video game would likely happen first.

I'd certainly allow Graphic Audio versions of my books... but first I need someone willing to purchase the rights and produce them. :)

Thanks,

Luke
Luke Scull Sorry, I'm a little late answering this question!

My favourite fantasy villain... that's a tough one. There are so many to choose from and recent fantasy tends to blur the lines between hero and villain. I'm going to have to go with Logen Ninefingers. Anyone who has read The First Law trilogy will understand why, but so as to avoid any spoilers, let's just he's a masterclass in how manipulate the thoughts and emotions of readers. We place him on a pedestal because of his charisma, against our better judgement, and when the the bubble eventually bursts we can only blame ourselves because the evidence was right there the whole time...
Luke Scull Yep, it's a trilogy. The third book is due out next year. There are several POVs. They rotate from chapter to chapter, just like Game of Thrones.
Luke Scull Good question. The audiobook for The Grim Company launched very close to the hardcover, so if the same applies for Sword of the North, I'd expect to see it this month or next. That's not certain, however. Sorry!
Luke Scull Three. I may write some standalone novels set in the same world in future.
