Roselle Angwin What a lovely comment, Margaret. Thank you so much. I wrote that book 25 years ago, so I'd write it differently now, no doubt, but I still stand behind it.

I'm working on another couple of books similar in theme/s to that - myth and the inner journey - but also quite different.

Watch this space!

Warm wishes
Roselle Angwin Working for oneself! And working with the imagination on a daily basis.
Roselle Angwin Take your passion seriously. Set yourself reasonable goals – like writing for a minimum of 10 minutes a day every day – rather than 10,000 words by the end of the week. When you succeed at the former, you'll feel good and want to exceed 10 minutes; when you fail at the latter you'll just feel bad.

If you're not actually passionate about writing, take up something else – astronomy, geology, dogwalking, hygge all seem to be reasonable substitutes to me.
Roselle Angwin I'm currently working on (7th draft!) a narrative non-fiction book about an enchanted forest, tree lore, legends of the 'lost feminine' – oh and loss.

What I'm NOT working on is a novel I began years ago, with a very introverted protagonist. I like the book but haven't yet resolved what his central issue is in terms of plot suspense.
Roselle Angwin My problem is not how to get inspired - so much inspires me! - Others' words, the natural world, a whole queue of ideas always. My issue is being disciplined enough as to follow just one trail.
