If I could travel to any fictional book world it would definitely be Narnia! I used to spend ages in my grandmother's wardrobe hoping the back of it would open into a magical world.

It's not something I usually suffer from - mainly because I don't restrict myself to one project at a time. (I've always been a fidget!) Write every day - even if it's only for ten minutes. Finish what you start. Carry a notebook wherever you go and use it to jot down anything interesting. If you like an idea, stick with it. Don't allow anyone - whoever they are - to put you off. Keep going until you achieve all your goals.

My current 'work in progress' has a working title of 'The Daisy Field' and was inspired by a scene I observed from a train window. Two little girls, one dark and one fair, were playing in a field near the River Avon and a woman (possibly their mother) was watching them from a striped deckchair.
