My most recent work is: "Down and Out in the Big Mango." It's a compilation of short stories set in Thailand. The inspiration came from simply living here in Thailand. The story ideas are based on things I've read about, heard about and seen during my time here.

Many believe there's no such thing. There is of course. I feel that it's your system telling you to take a break. So I pick up a book and do some reading instead. Alternatively I may go for a good workout or a long bike ride followed by a siesta.

Write to the best of your ability, but also for the joy and pleasure of it. Don't expect to make it big and become rich. I could happen, but don't fret about it. And try not to bore the reader.

A novel entitled: A Bangkok Interlude. It's the first in what will become a series. It seems that people prefer series books, especially in the crime genre. I recently broke of it to a write a longish short story which I've just published. Now I'm back on it and hope to have it completed before too long.

From being an avid reader as a child. I was also inspired by reading the life of Jack London, the first writer to influence me.
