I don't really have a lot of mystery in my life, but I did grow up in a very, very old house. It used to be a boarding house in a mining town in the late 1800s. I imagine there were a few stories that old house could tell.

Han Solo and Princess Leah. I particularly loved the way Han changed through the original episodes and at the end was willing sacrifice his wants for Leah's happiness. Thank goodness, she and Luke were brother and sister.

I love when the idea for a story comes. Sometimes in a dream, sometimes when watching a story in the news, and sometimes a person will pass by with a vibe that just begs to be captured.

If you want to write, then write. Find the time and sit down and pen the story of your heart. It's not easy. It's hard work to form prose that will inspire others to keep reading. But if it's what you want to do, then don't let excuses stand in your way.

My writer's block is mostly laziness. Writing is hard work and it require focus and dedication. When I'm in the zone, writer's block isn't a problem for me.

I'm getting ready to sign the contract for book 3 in the Northstar Security series published by The Wild Rose Press. And I'm currently working out the details for book 4. I'm very excited about sharing these stories that have been rattling around in my computer.

I got the idea a private security agency back in late 1980s when the writing bug hit me. I don't have a specific recollection where it came from. Probably, from a book I read by Alistair MacLean as he is one of my favorite authors.
