Are you going to write any new books soon?
Aya Ling Yes! I'm currently working on a retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princesses with a gender twist, so there are twelve princes instead. If all goes well, the book will be published in fall : )

Aya Ling Hi Jacqueline, thanks! Glad you enjoyed PDBE : ) Sorry, but I have no plans to continue the series. Right now my focus is to finish the Unfinished Fairy Tales series, and then write more YA fantasy/fairy tale retellings.

When can we expect the third installation of Unfinished Fairytales? That was quite a cliffhanger.
Aya Ling Hi Omobola, I expect it won't take as long as Twice Upon A Time (which took 13 months), but sorry I can't set a specific date at the moment. Sometimes a sudden new idea could make me rewrite an entire draft, so I can never be certain >.<

Will you write a story about Matilda and how she became a warrior?
Aya Ling Currently, I don't think so. Right now I'm trying to finish the Unfinished Fairy Tales and after that, the Girl with Flying Weapons series.

When will Twice Upon a Time be released? I keep waiting and waiting but I the dates keep changing.
Aya Ling Hi Greta, I plan to have it out by winter this year. The only change is that my original idea was one sequel, but now there's going to be two: book 2 this year, book 3 the next : )

Hi Aya Ling, I LOVE your book! Kat is such an amazing person who makes a fire inside of me blossom (especially when she talks about women's' rights). I am so excited for the next book. I was wondering when it's coming out? Also, do you plan on having a third book? I really hope you write a third.

Aya Ling Hi Crystel, the next book will be published this year, but I'm not sure exactly when it will be. One thing is certain: Kat and Edward's story will be continued in book 2 : )
