I have a stand alone novel about a genetically modified boy, a series about a foodie and a librarian who travel the world and solve mysteries in the early 1900's, and a post-apocalyptic series about an angel who falls to earth. I'll probably finish that last one first.

Write for yourself. Emulate the authors you love, but don't try to write on a subject or in a genre because it's popular - similarly, don't shy away from an idea because you think other people won't "get" it. You're best work comes from being yourself.
