My favorite fictional couple is probably Lyra and Will from His Dark Materials. A brief but oh so powerful love.

I deal with writers block by being very stressed out and thinking so hard my head hurts. I'm sure I'm unpleasant to be around when I'm like this but thankfully I have a supportive wife and understanding friends!

My advice would be to surround yourself with things that interest you. Fill your home with objects and art that elevate your consciousness. Go beyond pop culture, go beyond the average. Try new foods, see strange movies, read heady books. If you are learning, you will be creative. Never stop learning!

I am currently working on the first book in a new series. It's about an unnamed immortal who lives in modern day Rome and works to shield the Eternal City from subversive attacks by other ancient and supernatural personalities.
I'm using Rome as my back drop because of it's nearly 3,000 years of solid history. I'm obsessed with Mythology and history so Rome was the obvious setting for a thriller that deals heavily in both.

My most recent book is the third and final part of a Trilogy I started back when Curiosity was still in its testing phase. I've always been interested in Mars but because my mind tends to lean towards the fantastic, I had to spice up the red planet with some alien ruins!
