Now, if you aspire to be a published writer, I will tell you to write every single day, get a good critique partner and a few good betas, and do your research. Find a well respected editor. Find a quality cover designer. And take the plunge.

The book I am currently working on is THE UPRISING, the conclusion to THE MACKENZIE DUNCAN SERIES. I have always loved paranormal romance but wanted something different. I wanted a kick ass female who didn't need to be saved, but instead does the saving. I wanted mystery and adventure and I didn't want the romance to be the main story line. I like when the romance adds to the story, but there is more to it than just romance. When I was reading a book on werewolf mythology, I came across a story about a Royal Were. As soon as I finished, my brain went into the what if this happened or that happened and Poof, Mackenzie was born :D
