When I read Twilight (I know, I know), I thought it'd be interesting to turn Edward's gift around & only be able to hear one person's thoughts instead. I'm a pantser, not a plotter, so I didn't know I'd use that idea for the last installment of my trilogy (18 Thoughts--coming Jan. 2015!) until I got to the end of the second book, 18 Truths. And from that idea, I got my title, which fit since book one is 18 Things. It's funny how I only knew the title for book 1 when I got the contract for my trilogy, but all the 'th' titles matched perfectly to what each novel is about :-)
