Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Heather Mann It's based on my blog of the same name, CraftFail. I was inspired to start the blog after a disastrous string of failed crafts. Instead of throwing them in the trash, I photographed and shared them. The book has some of my fails but is also filled with tons of fails from other crafters.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Heather Mann That moment after you sit down to write and you forget to check Facebook or Pinterest and you are in the flow of writing.
