Ran Zilca When I need inspiration I stop writing for a few days, and try to stop thinking about it altogether. Inspiration then seem to come "out of nowhere" from a process that somehow goes on in the background.
Ran Zilca The biggest challenge is to write without expecting any outcome or thinking about the reader. It's a twist of sorts, because I find that when you manage to forget that someone is actually going to be reading the text, readers end up enjoying it the most. It becomes truly authentic.
Ran Zilca I am currently working on my second book. It's my my first experience writing fiction and I am enjoying it very much. The plot is set in Tel Aviv in the 1990s and the turn of the century.
Ran Zilca Ride of Your Life started as a project: a blog, a cross-country ride, and eventually a book. Step by step, I started transforming my life, and in the process, discovered that I enjoy writing down the experiences, and sharing them with others.

when I took my coast-to-coast ride, I wrote each night, and the notes served as the first draft for the book.
