Hello Helen, thank you very much for getting in touch. I do have some questions but it's hard to give them here without giving spoilers. Would it be possible for you to message me with your email address via Instagram @kerryfisherwrites or FB Kerry Fisher Author so that I can send them to you and you can look at them after you've read the book? All the best Kerry

Hello Carol Thank you so much for reading. I do have a set of questions. I need to retrieve them from a different computer. What’s your deadline for receiving them?

(view spoiler)[Hi Kerry,
You just wrote a book about my daughter and I and our relationship when you wrote "The Mother I Could Have Been". The letter India wrote to her mother talking about a toxic situation used the same words my daughter said to me when she decided we should stop seeing each other. How do these things happen? I don't thing you ever said in the book exactly how it came about. Is it a personality clash?? (hide spoiler)]

Hello Joan, I don't know how I missed this message. I'm so sorry to hear you have real life experience of these difficult situations with your own daughter. I don't think people really know how these things happen - it's such a combination of factors including personality and the last straw is often just a tiny thing. I read a useful book during my research https://www.amazon.co.uk/Done-Crying-..., which might help you understand a bit more. All the best to you Kerry

Hello Marilyn I'm so pleased to hear you enjoyed one of my books! From the way the questions appear, I can't see which book you are referring to. If you would like to message me via my website kerryfisherauthor.com so I receive your email address, I should be able to send you some questions. Many thanks Kerry

(view spoiler)[Hello K,
Thank you so much for choosing my book as your book club read! Wonderful news. I think it would be interesting to ask the following:
Should Kate have gone to the police to stop her friend harassing her instead of moving around the country trying to avoid her?
Was Sally a weak wife for not giving Chris an ultimatum early on or strong in the sense that she thought giving him time to think things over might deliver the outcome she wanted (convince him to have a baby)?
Should Gisela have left Jack when he went to prison?
Was Gisela a controlling mother who wanted to dictate who her son fell in love with or was she just a mum who wanted to protect her son from making a big mistake?
Did Gisela's and Sally's posts on Facebook stem from a desire to convince themselves that they had a good life rather than a deliberate intention to mislead those around them?
Should Kate have made contact with her childhood friend to talk things through at the end of the book?
All the very best

Hello Carol, could you let me know which book it is please and I will try to help. Thank you.

Oh bless you Margaret, thank you. I don't know why I've only just seen this...but a very belated thank you so much! My history with Brighton is that I live about an hour away and it's my go-to place when I have time to stroll and just be - love the seaside and Brighton is a bit more bohemian than where I live.
Thanks again for getting in touch and apologies for the very late response!

Hello Carolyn
Thank you so much for getting in touch. I don't have a list of discussion questions as such but I think it would be interesting to ask whether Maggie was right to keep the secret from Nico that she discovered. Whether Lara was strong or really weak. Whether social class (and coming from different ones) really does matter in a marriage. Whether for Anna to be truly redeemed she should have shunned Massimo as well? Does that help? Give everyone my very best regards and my thanks for reading. And if you feel like taking a photo and sending it to me via my FB page KerryFisherAuthor, I'd be really thrilled to see it! All the very best Kerry

Hi Rodney thanks for getting in touch. I'm not sure my books would fit the bill as they all contain some swearing in keeping with the characters. The latest one, The Secret Child, is probably the cleanest and tamest so you could try that one out and see what you think. Kind regards and thank you

Hello Lois - no, all my books are standalone so you can start with any - I would say though, that my first book, The School Gate Survival Guide, and to a degree, the second, The Island Escape, were my lightest, funniest reads, then I got darker and more serious as I went along! All the very best for a happy 2018 xx

Hello Sue...I am so sorry, I didn't see this question until now but both the books you mention are available on Audible. Hope that helps...and I'm so delighted you enjoyed The Silent Wife. Very best wishes for 2018. Kerry
