Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, W.E.. It depends on the service, and what you want out of it. You have to look at each service, what they offer, how much they cost, and then ask them questions. They're ability to work with you is crucial. If they answer your questions the way you are comfortable with, then they might be a good fit. If not, steer clear. But it's all individual to your needs.

I'm currently working on a new series that will release early next year. It's about a securities firm made up of misfits. It's different, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Writing romantic suspense is different, and I'm gaining a new respect for mystery writers. I'm also in negotiations with a photographer and model for the covers. Going in a new direction with a new approach is daunting, at best.

I switch over from my laptop to pen and paper. I've found that uses a different part of my brain, and sometimes thoughts come easier. And it makes me feel old school.
