I spend a lot of time in prayer prior to writing. When I went on a prayer retreat, I journaled and art journaled about the experience. So when it was time to begin the new book, it was almost a no-brainer: Prayer.
I am also working on a completely unrelated book, a Gouldian Finch Handbook. That's because I saw such a need for it. Finch lovers hop onto forums and ask the same questions over & over. By providing a low cost handbook in ebook form, they can learn what they need to know.
Working on 2 or more projects at a time is my modus operandi. When I feel myself slowing on one, I hop over to the other. It energizes me to work this way.
