I'm currently taking a break from The Bravest of Souls book series and working on a novel set in the Oregon Trail times. I know that might sound like a big departure from my first three books, but there will be a strong supernatural/sci-fi element to the story.

When I encounter a block, I immediately stop writing and do something else. Go for a walk, play a video game, do some work - anything else but sit and stew over the block itself. It usually comes to me if I leave it alone.
