Rose Klix Still packed boxes crowded our temporary apartment. I woke, gasped, then laughed, when the vision of a young man's face telepathically said, "Are you moving?"
Rose Klix Easy question. I'd go to Mitford. Jan Karon is a skillful author to make me feel part of her fictional Appalachian community. I love Father Tim's and Cynthia's adventures.
Rose Klix Perhaps the mystery of survival would be a plot for a book. However, a memoir would be more appropriate. I've often been amazed at how the human spirit survives tragedy, abuse, and health challenges.
Rose Klix I'd say Ross and Delmeza Poldark. I watched the BBC series and look forward to reading the series of books by Winston Graham (when life settles down a bit). I can't promise I'll read all 40 of his books. We'll see how engaging they are. The reason I like the couple is because Delmeza is a strong independent woman even though the early 19th century era in Wales did not allow for any woman to be independent and outspoken. She had to find a convincing voice to charm and hold Ross who was disappointed about his first love Elizabeth marrying before he returned from the war. Both Delmeza and Ross are strong characters who learn to work better together to overcome challenging odds and life experiences.
Rose Klix Just like physical activity, writing requires exercise. I challenge myself with writing contests. They have deadlines, which helps me stay focused.

Rose Klix I love holding a published book in my hands and know I wrote it. I also like setting my own hours.

Rose Klix WRITE!!!! I dabbled with writing for years while I raised my family and worked a "day job." I longed to retire and really write full time. I feared being a "starving artist." In 2005 I was able to "retire" early. Then I discovered how much writing I'd put off. It's been a wonderful ten years of creative writing, but I've not written all I thought up over the years. Don't wait. You'll have too many projects backed-up waiting for you. www.RoseKlix.com
Rose Klix It's now been five years since my challenges with breast cancer. It's time to write about my experiences with alternative health practices along with traditional medicine. www.RoseKlix.com
Rose Klix Writing ideas come to me, because I'm open to them. Sometimes my subjects and characters "talk" to me in my quiet moments. Reading good books also inspire me, as well as networking with other writers.

Rose Klix I've always believed in reincarnation. I wrote a poem about it when I was sixteen. A copy is in my book "Past Lives Before Now." A few years ago I started exploring my past lives and learned about 23 of them. The process and the life stories were so interesting to me, that I wanted to share them. www.RoseKlix.com
