Ashley Farley Melissa, I'm sorry I'm just seeing your question. Did Google play ever answer you. I'm so frustrated. I would love to put my books on Google play, but for now, they are not accepting any new authors. Such a bummer.
Ashley Farley Plotting. I love to disappear inside my head and plan out scenes and devise sentences, paragraphs, and chapters.
Ashley Farley Write every day and never, ever give up. Seek advice, but always trust your gut. Your writing belongs to you.
Ashley Farley After my brother died in 1999 of an accidental overdose, I turned to writing as a way of releasing my pent-up emotions. Now, I can't not write, it is such a part of my life. So far I've been lucky. I've always found the inspiration.
Ashley Farley I am currently working on Her Sister’s Shoes, a touching women’s novel about family bonds, loyalty, and courage for fans of Dorothea Benton Frank, Liane Moriarty, and Elin Hildebrand. I hope to release Her Sister's Shoes this spring.

The Sweeney sisters are average middle-age women, wives and mothers struggling to balance the demands of career and home while remaining true to themselves. But their lives are far from ordinary.

In the aftergloom of her fiftieth birthday, when her husband leaves her for a younger woman, Jackie must reconnect with her former self to find the happiness she needs to move on.

Sam is the glue that holds her family together. Her strength is tested when an accident leaves her teenage son in a wheelchair.

Faith lacks the courage to stand up to her abusive husband. When she turns to her sisters for help, she places all their lives in danger.

The sisters must set aside their own problems to cope with their mother’s mental decline. Is Hattie in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, or is her odd behavior normal for a woman her age? Could the rusty key she wears around her neck solve all their problems and save their family business from ruin?

Set in coastal South Carolina, In Her Sister’s Shoes is packed with Southern charm and quirky characters.
Ashley Farley I am currently working on a novel I hope to release this spring titled, Her Sister's Shoes. I'm originally from South Carolina, and I got the idea of writing a story set in the lowcountry about three sisters coping with some of the same issues as me, raising children and dealing with aging parents.
