I was motivated to write THE LEMONADE STAND COOKBOOK last summer after my two kids spent hours one afternoon with the kids from our cul-de-sac holding a lemonade stand. The kids divided up the responsibilities — stirring up lemonade, baking muffins, drawing and posting signs — and then jumped up and down at the corner yelling “LEMONADE!” to everyone who came by. They worked together, off their screens, and even came home with money in their pockets. It was one epic playdate.

I'm currently finishing up THE LEMONADE STAND COOKBOOK, my first cookbook for kids! It's all about empowering kids ages 6-12 to get cooking, get crafty, and become entrepreneurs.
