Dionisio and Anica from 'Senor Vivo & The Coca Lord' by Louis de Bernieres. I love the equal relationship this couple have and was incredibly moved by Dionisio's response to his grief when Anica dies. The book is one of my absolute favourites and is the one of the reasons I write Magic Realism.
