The best thing for me is being able to clean my brain out on a daily basis. Sometimes, just having the ability to write my thoughts out is a huge blessing. When someone reads it and either relates or enjoys it, well - that's just ten times more awesome.

This might not be the healthiest answer to the question, but I talk to myself. I begin a conversation out loud where ask, "Where are we going with this?" and I'll answer, "Well, the hero is setting out to..."
...and I can usually work it out within a few hours. This method also lets me know if it's actually writer's block that I'm dealing with, or if I just need nap. It's a pretty freeing exercise - I mean, my roommate thinks I'm crazy, but whatever. ;)
