Really understand your goals. Is writing fun for you? If so, enjoy writing and make sure you don't get pulled into caring too much about getting published or marketing. If you're interested in writing for the money, you're almost certainly in the wrong line of work. Get a realistic idea about how difficult it is to make writing pay significantly before you invest a lot of time in it.

I've been lucky in that I've never had writer's block, at least not as an across-the-board thing. I have so many projects going that if I hit a dead end on one story I can easily shift to something else.
