Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Mark Love I always liked Richard Castle and Kate Beckett. Both were intelligent, with a sharp sense of humor and while they each had different strengths, they worked well together. Of course the chemistry and the attractions worked well.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Mark Love Getting feedback and reviews from readers who enjoy the stories you create. That can be very gratifying, knowing that someone liked your work enough to make a comment on it.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Mark Love Always keep writing. Whether it's a short story or a novel, keep at it. Make sure you know your audience and always polish your work before submitting it. Find a friend whose opinion you respect and ask them to read your manuscript.

What are you currently working on?
Mark Love I enjoyed the characters in Why 319 so much that I started writing a sequel. It's as if they know there are more stories to tell.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Mark Love For "Why 319?" I've always been intrigued with the idea of a serial killer taunting the police. Leaving victims in room 319 of different hotels sounded like a great start.
