Kimberly Kincaid Hi Sara! Great question. For my books set in the Remington world (Station Seventeen, Remington Medical, and Intelligence Unit), there are a couple of places you can start and all three of those series do cross over.

But if you want to go in completely chronological order, start with Deep Trouble, then read the Station Seventeen books (listed in order here on Goodreads as well as my website), then read the Remington Medical series starting with Back to You (both of these series subsections are complete for bingeing!). Then you'll be ready for the Intelligence Unit books, starting with The Rookie.

For small-town contemporary romance, Crossing Hearts kicks of the Cross Creek Series (that series stands alone) and Love on the Line kicks of the Line Series (same).

Happy reading! And feel free to hop over to my website--all books are listed in reading order there.
Kimberly Kincaid Hi Cintia,

Writing can be a tough business, for sure. My best advice would be that, while it is important to understand the market and what's trending in case you can make that work for you, the best way to stick with it is to write your books, your way. You might write the same genre, or style, as many others, but there is only one YOU. There are also self publishing options available if you decide you want to go that route. So take your motivation and let it fuel you. Let your stories fuel you. Keep an eye on the market, but at this stage, while you're still feeling your way, try not to let it dictate all of your moves. Good luck! XO
Kimberly Kincaid Hi Johanna! Yes, Owen has a book (Crossing Promises) and there's one more book in the series, Crossing Hope. Happy reading!
Kimberly Kincaid This is a great question! I do plan to write a book about Liam Hollister, but I can't say yet who his heroine will be ;) (sorry!) But as of right now, all the Station Seventeen firefighters and paramedics, plus all the cops at the Thirty-Third, do have books on my schedule. Stay tuned!
Kimberly Kincaid I have a lot on tap for this summer! Some of my favorite authors are Cristin Harber, Pamela Clare, JR Ward, Katee Robert, Laura Kaye, and Scarlett Cole. I've got lots of really hot heroes to keep me company!
Kimberly Kincaid Oh, this is a good one! I definitely believe in strong attraction at first sight, the kind where you really know there's a good chance for love. Of course, I make my characters work for it ;) What about you guys--what do you think?
Kimberly Kincaid Great question! All three stories in the Sugar Cookie Sweetheart Swap take place in Pine Mountain, and yes, my characters do appear in later stories. That said, all of the Pine Mountain titles stand alone. They're more fun read in order (I like to visit characters from other books again and again-- like old friends!) but not necessary to "get it" :)
Kimberly Kincaid For Stirring Up Trouble (my October 2014 release), I'd had the heroine Sloane in the previous book, so I "knew" her. She's so quirky and brash and out there that I knew an opposites attract story would work well. I'd always vowed I would never write a story with a kid in the mix because they are so hard to reconcile...but then the best way to make Gavin uber-responsible (and the opposite of Sloane) was to give him the ultimate responsibility of raising someone. The story was born from that idea, and snowballed from there.
Kimberly Kincaid It doesn't take much! A TV commercial, an overheard conversation in Starbuck, a photo shoot in a magazine. I once wrote an entire novella based on a picture of a fashion model in Cosmopolitan (she became Violet, the heroine in Love On The Line)
Kimberly Kincaid I always have a few irons in the fire! As of right now (September 2014) I am working on an Indie anthology project (novella) as well as the first book in the Hometown Hero (firefighters, you're welcome!) series for Kensington, slated for release in early 2016.
Kimberly Kincaid I know it sounds simple, but write. It's so easy to get caught up in starting a website or getting your name out there on social media (and those things are important too) but above all, WRITE. Write a lot. Write often. Write poorly and edit. Make mistakes and fix them. But don't ever shy away from those words on the page. Write.
Kimberly Kincaid I honestly love all of it, even the really hard parts (and there are lots of those-- deadlines and writer's block to name a few) The whole process is so exciting, from the concept to "The End". And going to work in my yoga pants is the opposite of a problem :)
Kimberly Kincaid I either go for a run or a drive, and I always listen to music. It usually gets the ideas flowing!
