Yes, absolutely. In fact, there have been so many I haven't kept count. These have included emotionally, financially, and even geographically. One of the biggest lessons I learned is that starting over isn’t the end. Yes, it can be scary because it is change and as humans we tend to fear that. Yet, it’s often the beginning of a whole new beginning we couldn’t have imagined before.

I wrote Born To Rise, a few years post-covid, during a season of deep reflection in my life. I was coming up on a big birthday and remembered that my mom had transitioned around that age. It made me think about the importance of sharing my life story before I leave the planet. I took time to reflect on the many setbacks I had experienced in my life and the lessons. I realized how many of us go through seasons like that, and I wanted to share my journey as an encouraging reminder that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It's not the end.
