This year I'm knocking out some classics. "A wrinkle in time" "The Three Musketeers" "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and others like that. I'm also shuffling in some educational stories like "Scattered" which is about A.D.D. and other books like that. There is a stack of books on my living room table that I am slowly completing. Two more and I'm half-way through the stack!

My black cat.
Yes, that may not make sense, so I will explain.
My black cat has this strange, and sometimes scary, ability to walk into a room with me and vanish. I don't mean hiding behind something or blending in. It's more like a wormhole appeared and she slipped through it and went to a different part of my house.
This has happened more than once in different parts of my house. In the laundry room she passed between drier and washer, and I looked behind them for her, but she was gone. I left the room and found her on the counter in the kitchen. I always hear her jump up there, but I hadn't heard her this time.
Super sus...
I laugh it off, but I suspect my cat is magical or my house has small portals inside it that only she can use. No explanation has been found.

Inspiration comes in different ways. Often times it comes from music, but sometimes I'll catch sight of an abnormality from the corner of my eye, and I look at it, finding it was not abnormal, but what I thought I saw gives me an idea and I scribble it down for later use, (many parts throughout the Eysheus Saga are from such moments). Other things that cause me to write are strange characteristics in people I meet. Personality quirks I find fascinating. Quite a few of my stories were created merely to house a character I created. Like Malakavel; I created him and decided he needed a story, and so his life is now being built around the man I made.
This, dear reader, is how I acquire the inspiration to write. It does not come by force; it simply comes when the world shifts at the right moment.
