Simple question demanding a complex answer, but I will endeavor.
TLDR: Tastes differ. "Letting Her Date" is an interesting twist on a standard hotwife theme that has been well-received.
Long version: Not only do readers have differing favorites, but I find as a writer that my most intense efforts are not necessarily received well (Love and Liberation, Debauched). My genre isn't strictly specific - primarily hotwife - and I often branch out stories into totally different areas.

crime drama (Iron Crows Motorcycle Club series, The Psychic Bitch)

And a whole mess of other minor deviations from what certain genres have come to expect that are really just too long to list.
