Dermot O'Hanlon If you mean how ideas come for a new book, they come in many ways. For instance, being a doctor, 'The Medical Student' was almost destined. I suppose I could account for what prompted me to write any of my writings if I thought about it, even short works. One of my short stories, about an aggrieved old bulldog and a will, came from reading a snippet of news about a woman leaving a fortune to a cat.
