Interesting ideas are all around. Once my mind latches on to one, it will keep popping up, along with questions. Where would I set the story? Who would be the perfect protagonist? How about (insert type of character) for a sidekick? Who is the antagonist? What will I need to research? And on and on. At some point, I begin to hear snatches of conversation that would fit into the novel. Once that happens, I know it is time to get started. I'm inspired and can't put it aside.
