There is no definitive answer for that. Sometimes I take a break. Sometimes I write something else for a while. Sometimes I meditate. It just depends on what is going on around me at the time, I guess.

Getting to tell the stories of the characters who live in my head. It is a definite high when you see their stories down on paper.

Truthfully I'm not sure. It just happens. One minute I'm not writing and the next I have a million thoughts and ideas and I'm writing. I guess that means everything is capable of inspiring me to write.

Don't give up! It takes time. Very few people release a book and have an instant hit. It's going to take a year or two to get into the groove. Just keep trudging along and you will notice things changing.

Right now I am working on the second and third books in the Harper's Rock series. We hope to release them relatively close together to finish out the series.
