Marco why did you give "The Secrets of Vacheron Constantin: 250 Years of History" only 3 stars? I am looking for a good resource to learn about vacheron from a collecting perspective. Is this a good choice?

Marco Strazzi Niko, thank you for your remark. In fact I made a mistake, as I should have put 4 stars rather than 3. I will put the missing star right away. The book is the best I know about Vacheron and definitely worth reading for a fan of the brand. Best, Marco

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marco Strazzi From an old British Army watch I was lucky enough to buy and from some lifetime passions and professional interests: WW2, football, watchmaking. Then there is a strong fascination with time and age: how they change not just our physical, but also spiritual world; how they challenge our perception of things present and past.

How do you get inspired to write?

Marco Strazzi At first, by the feeling that I have something to say. Subsequently, by the will to improve my former drafts. But the latter has more to do with transpiration than inspiration, as everybody knows all too well.
