In Burn Out, did you name Britta after the water pitcher company? I figured that out and thought it was funny, because of the drought in the book. Also, is Strange Skies out yet?
Kristi Helvig Ha...no, but that's funny! I pictured her personality as very brittle and wanted her name to start with a B because of the bird comparisons in the book, so that's where her name came from. And yes, Strange Skies is out now! :)

Will there be another Burn Out installment? Pretty please?
Kristi Helvig Yes, it's always been envisioned as a trilogy so there will be a 3rd book. I don't know the exact timeline yet, but I'll definitely post on my blog when I have more info, so sign up for my newsletter for up-to-date news! :)

Are you going to create an audiobook for Strange Skies?
Kristi Helvig Audible bought the audio rights for Strange Skies. It was supposed to be ready in time for the release date, but should be out soon, and the same actress who did the first book is doing the 2nd one too so I'm very excited because she was my first choice!

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Kristi Helvig This one's easy: I get to make up things and work in my yoga pants. It doesn't get much better than that. :)
