Jayne Denker Hi Amanda! Funny you should ask...! 👀 That's my open Word doc right now! It took a while (life, yanno) but it's nearly ready. Fingers crossed the publisher will want to put out Willow Cove 3! Delia and Gray are so much fun!

Jayne- do you need to read your books in the order they were published? Or can they be read in any order?
Jayne Denker Hi Diane! My first two books, By Design and Unscripted, are total standalones, no sequels. My third and fourth books, Down on Love and Picture This, make up my small-town series (Marsden Novels), so they're linked, but they can be read as standalones as well. So anyone can pick up any of my books in any order! :)

If you decided to move out of state, where you want to relocate and why?
Jayne Denker Hi Rainbow! Good question! Um, lots of places, actually! I'm a ridiculous anglophile, so if I could move to the UK, I'd be a deliriously happy camper! If I had to stay in the States, I'd head straight for New Orleans--gawd, I love that city. I think I could also be happy in Southern California, to be near my brother and his family...as long as I could live at the beach. :)

Jayne, why did you decide to write Romance novels, instead of political dramas?
Jayne Denker Hi Debbie! Because I am one of those saps who's in love with love! :D I adore happy love stories, and I think there aren't enough of those in the world, so I decided to create some!

When it comes to writing your first draft, do you outline, or are you a panster / discovery writer?
Jayne Denker Hi Tracy! Check my answer to CeCe--she asked the same thing. I'm a total pantser, even though I have to give my editor an outline. I have a few ideas and specifics, but I'm constantly surprised by the turns my plot takes and the choices my characters make.

Are you a pantser or plotter?
Jayne Denker Hi CeCe! I'm a total pantser. Well, an organized pantser (if there is such a thing)! I keep a bunch of notes (a big ol' blob, really) in a single Word document, including key scenes, bits of dialogue, and character details. I give my editor an outline because he requests one, but it's a total lie; I drift from it almost immediately. :) My characters constantly surprise me, doing things I never expected. I try to make them behave, to no avail.
