When I have time, I am slowly working on a sequel to "Copper Empire". The sequel will take place in 1914 and would get back into the dangers of working in a copper mine as well as the drama of the Weyburn family.

My grandmother was born and raised in the Copper Country. After I graduated from college in 1991, I took a trip to the Keweenaw and was fascinated with the history of the labor strike of 1913 that led the tragedy at Italian Hall. I thought to myself "I should write a book about those events!"
