Thanks for reaching out! Since you don't mention a particular novel's title, I'm going to guess you're referring to a later release.
When inventing characters,I try to make certain they are imbued with traits that make them believable. Taller men, for example, tend to "dip their heads" to acknowledge another. However, for my latest release (and 28th), The Puzzle of a Bastard, I asked that my beta readers and editor pay particular attention to overused characters traits. As a result, you shouldn't find as many references to head motions as you might have found in The Angel of an Astronomer.

Hi Robyn - Because I was busy with Wild Deadwood Reads (a book signing and vacation option for readers and authors that I co-host with Ginger Ring), I haven't been paying attention to other book events! I agree, I haven't seen much on this show, so I'm hesitant to make airline reservations. I do have a room booked, though. I guess time will tell!

Jamie Fraser and Clare Beauchamp from the "Outlander" series. These two have a relationship that has spanned decades, and more trials and tribulations than any couple should have to endure. From their rocky start to their discovery of mutual passion, they never disappoint.

Hi Corrine - I sent an email to you directly from my account. It looks as if a historical boxed set is a bit unusual for your company, but I am certainly interested in learning more. You can contact me by responding to my email directly with the specifics.

I was daydreaming while I was vacuuming the house - the idea just struck me (although it has nothing to do with housework). I promise!

I have to mention two best things. I can write anytime of the day or night - and I usually do! And I love meeting readers and other authors, especially at romance conventions. Romance is a fantastic genre with very supportive people.

Sometimes reading a book will trigger an inspiration, sometimes watching a movie will do it, but most often it happens out of the blue. An idea will simply strike, and I'll have to hurry to my computer or iPad or find a pen and paper and start writing. Once I get started, I find it's easy to continue writing.

I'm busy on THE LOVE OF A RAKE, which is the first book in a new series. I just finished THE DESIRE OF A LADY (released May 30), the third book in The Sisters of the Aristocracy. As in all my books, it features more than one couple and centers on Lily Harkins, the illegitimate sister of Gabriel Wellingham, Earl of Trenton. She first appeared in THE STORY OF A BARON and finds herself with too many suitors. Most are after her dowry, of course, but there is one man who knows her from her days as a lady's maid. Too bad he's a lowly clerk.
