Very poorly! I hate it, because it's not that I don't write when I have writer's block, it's just that what I write sucks. Like, properly. I usually read something I know I enjoy, and try to jiggle free from its hold.

I often find I get inspired WHEN I'm writing. If I were to write only when I felt inspired, I'd not get much done. I'm a big believer in the "You can edit a page full of shit, but you can't edit a blank page" - ethos.

There's a small mountain on our property, where there are runes etched into the rock from about a thousand years ago. My husband, who's into vikings, got me thinking about the gods, the mythology and what our neighbourhood looked like back then.
