Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Gabriel D. Vidrine This one was a surprise. It just came to me. I normally write horror and fantasy, but suddenly I had this story in my head, this character, Casey, who was pleading to be written. I needed this story as a kid, and I didn't have it, and now, I hope it helps someone who needs it.
