I don't really free write or write flash fiction. I enjoy writing novel-length works. It's probably because I have so much to tell in a story, I struggle to tell it such a limited space. Thank you for your question, and sorry I missed it and took so long to answer.

I would say the marketing is the most difficult for me. I enjoy the writing and editing of a novel, but marketing is tough for me. Though I enjoy creating fun ads and bookmarks, and putting together giveaway packages. It's just trying to keep up with marketing while writing and editing other books that proves difficult.

I take a break, go for a walk, hang out with family or friends, read one of the many books on my TBR shelf, and when I return to writing, it's usually gone. Writer's block, to me, means you need to step away and let the inspiration come to you. I write almost every day.

The best part is creating stories and being part of a community of readers who love books and a community of writers who understand the struggles a writer goes through to get their stories out in the world.

I'm finishing edits on book two of Library Jumpers. It's darker than the first book in the series, and I'm loving it. I just finished Touching Fate and I'm working on another exciting idea that I hope to announce soon.

The idea for Library Jumpers came to me in a book store while flipping through the pages of a coffee book about libraries. I wanted to jump into the pages and visit each one. The libraries were so amazingly beautiful and I pictured creatures and knights fighting in the after hours of the libraries. I rushed over and bought a notebook, sat at a table in the bookstore's coffee shop and plotted out the story.
