Mark Stone I'm a conduit rather than a creator. I plan nothing. The stories just sort of come to me.
Mark Stone It's not a question of being inspired; it's a question of having to write. Writing is like breathing. I enjoy doing it and there is no choice about the matter should I wish to continue living.

Mark Stone Take the craft of writing seriously. LEARN IT. Constantly aspire to get better at it. ALWAYS hire an editor, a proofreader, a cover designer. Get your work critiqued by peers. Take the criticism as a challenge rather than an offense. If you don't approach your work seriously, why should anyone else?
Mark Stone The ability to enter into other worlds, see those worlds through the eyes of other people.
