I would say any genre that you have not read extensively in would be difficult to write. I do some ghost writing but I will not take on a genre that I haven't read in. I could not do it justice.
Thanks for the question.

Thanks for the question. I'm currently working on a vampire series called the Darker side of Deb. Book one is complete and ready for publishing. Book two is 80% written but this last 20% just seems to keep getting longer and longer. I'm hoping to finish it today or tomorrow and then send it to my editors to have back just after Christmas.
These books are a little different to my normal books. They are less violent and contain less gore and they also have a touch of romance.
Deb is an amazing character by day she is a disabled reporter. Dealing with all the easy jobs, car washes, biggest cake you know the sort of thing but by night she has a dark side and she uses that to fight crime.
I'm loving this story and can't wait to write the next one.

That is a difficult one, but I think it would have to be a The Rats by James Herbert I just love that book and could read it again and again. Of course the other answer would be a blank one so that I could use each page to make some brief notes and invent my own stories.

I don't really believe in it, if you don't feel inspired just sit down and write and the words will come.
If you are really stuck set an alarm for five minutes and tell yourself you will just write for that time - every-time you will find by the time the five minutes are up you will be writing and in the flow.

Being able to torture, maim and kill those who bug you - Did I say that out-loud?
Well really it is the freedom of living in your imagination.

Write, read, write, read, write, read - ok you get the picture. Just get your ass on the seat and do some writing every day and everything else will come.

I have one novel that is in the writing stage - Reflections of Death - Malum. I have several more that are plotted out just waiting for me to have time to write them.

This one is easy - once you turn your writing brain on it is hard to stop and you see stories everywhere. Daddy Won't Kill You was from seeing a creepy rocking-chair - it just gave me the willies.

The most recent book I'm writing was originally done as a screenplay where it did really well in competitions and a production company was interested in it. Unfortunately that deal fell through when a similar story was released at the cinemas - Mirrors - even though the company said my idea was better. So I decided I would re-write it as a book. The original idea was from a short story written by my husband about the evil that lurked within reflections - I still love this story and may eventually make it into a series of books
