Because I write fiction, I work hard to view life from my character's perspective. It can be so interesting to hear a song on the radio or watch a show on television and process it through different character's minds.

Writer's Block - ack! It's awful, isn't it.
Whenever I've had it, it's usually because the story took a wrong turn and I don't get over it until I find where's the story is wrong and correct it. Sometimes it's that I've forced a character to act out of their character, or I've written something I don't truly believe.
This is not fun, but when I hit true writers block, I go back and rewrite and rewrite what I've written previously until I find a new path for the book to go.

Hi Cintia,
I'm so sorry it took me so long to answer. I just realized today I had questions here.

Hey Deon,
I am currently working on three book proposals that are going to my publisher really soon. Each story is set in the same time period as my previous books. Each one will be a stand alone, which is fun challenge after a full trilogy.
I'll announce book contracts on my Facebook page :-)
