As an active mom of special needs child and 3 others, wife of a coach, when do you have time to write. Your faith is reflected in your books. I enjoy reading books that have a good plot and clean words. When will your next book be out? Thanks Sandy
Candee Fick Thanks for reaching out! With my busy family schedule, I do the bulk of my writing between 6 and 7 in the morning five days a week plus while my special needs daughter is at work. I don't have a firm release day yet for the next book but anticipate it will likely be in September (or somewhere thereabouts this fall).

What are you currently working on?
Candee Fick I am currently working on another full-length inspirational romance. The Caretaker is the story of a burned-out caregiver and a self-reliant handyman. She craves a break and he refuses to accept help, but the mountains have a way of forcing people to work together.

Set at a fictional lodge and cabins in Estes Park, Colorado.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Candee Fick Catch of a Lifetime will be releasing in December 2015. The idea for this contemporary romance actually began years ago with a dream. I woke up with a scene in my head and frantically scribbled down as much as I could remember before it faded away in the light of day. Then I tried to figure out who these people were and how they had come to that point. Of course, in order to make it realistic (because not everything that happens in dreams makes sense!), the story shifted slightly but still revolved around a rookie college football coach and a football-hating student.

The final trigger for the plot came through a conversation with a college-coaching-friend who mentioned a recent scandal at a University because of a fraternization policy violation. Aha! What if more than the love/hate of a game kept them apart? And why does she hate football anyway?
