Tracey L. Moore Usually I get inspired to write the more I spend time with God. When I get before God, He sparks my curiosity about something I see in the Word, then I search it out and end up writing down my insights that I think will be helpful to others.
Tracey L. Moore I am currently working on a devotional entitled Daily Tweets for the Soul. I am also working on developing spiritual workshops to about how to live successfully single.
Tracey L. Moore I walk away and take a break and, usually, when I come back, it's gone. I don't try to force it. That's a waste of time. If the words are not coming, I can't make them come by sitting there. I know this sounds crazy, but it's like being constipated. Don't just sit there; you need to go do something to get things flowing again. It may be to take a walk, pray, listen to music that inspires you, or talk with a friend. After you have taken a "mental laxative," go back and try again, and hopefully you'll find the writers block has subsided. :o)

Tracey L. Moore Write something that solves a problem for the person. If it's helping him or her to gain insight to get life changing results or provide entertainment. If it doesn't solve a problem of some kind, then you'll find it difficult to sell the book.
Tracey L. Moore I had written love poems that I wanted to compile in a book. My favorite was entitled The Exceptional Man. I wanted to write a relationship book that celebrated good men that love and serve God. That's why I decided to write the book.
