The third Catrin Sayer novel, The Falmouth Model' is now complete and out. Catrin Sayer, a Welsh police officer working for the Metropolitan Police Art Crime Unit has helped track down a missing Chinese sailor in Wales (The Chinese Sailor) and been in the rough of it chasing art fraud and a suspected murderer in Scotland (The Scottish Colourist).
In the third book in the series, she is sent to Cornwall to assist in the investigation of a 'hacked webpage, an attack on a student who also works as a figure model.

I am so new to this, giving substantive advice would be dangerous ... but I can say, try, have confidence in yourself. Write first for yourself not with some 'grand concept' of being a writer needing to meet some nebulous 'standard' out there. It's your journey/

In the largest sense, 'self-fulfilment'; to take an idea that passes through the mind and develop it into something I can share with others. Having spent a lot of my life writing technical and 'analytical' reports of different sorts, it is really enjoyable writing and developing fiction.
